This derivative product consists of two raw materials, vegetable oil and hemp flower extract. 1. Oil-based extraction. In this process, the hemp plant is immersed in vegetable oil (such as hemp oil, coconut oil or even olive oil). CBD and many other hemp compounds are liposoluble. This means that they extract and bind to any fat when the temperature is high enough. Plant oil and hemp plant are warmed at high temperatures around 150° – 200°. The oily substance obtained thus is then filtered to obtain an oil enriched with CBD.
2. Supercritical CO2 method. This means of extraction is the most requested for the extraction of cannabinoids and terpenes present in the hemp plant, because it is the healthiest and most efficient. Thanks to CO2, all the molecules contained in the hemp plant are extracted without being damaged. To obtain an oil with all CBD properties or "Full Spectrum", the hemp plant is placed in liquid CO2. It can then release all its molecules and terpenes. Afterwards, all recovered items are moved to another room with different pressure and temperature. Thus, CO2 is retransformed into gas and oil becomes a concentration of benefits of hemp easy to consume!
3. Solvent-based method. In this method we use dissolvants such as isopropylic alcohol, hexane, ethanol or butane to extract CBD from the plant. The decarboxyled hemp plant is placed in the dissolvant. In contact with both elements, a chemical process separates the cannabinoids from the plant matter. Once this stage is completed, cannabinoids and terpenes are recovered through evaporation. The result of evaporation will form a CBD concentrated substance that will then be added to virgin vegetable oils to create oil at CBD.

Oil can also be treated and dried to isolate CBD molecules from other plant compounds extracted during the extraction process. This additional treatment allows to obtain CBD crystals, also known as CBD isolates. This is then refined CBD with the highest degree of purity.

Although the molecular structure of cannabidiol is close to THC, CBD should not be confused with this other cannabinoid. Very low in THC, cannabidiol does not generate psychotropic effects. On the contrary, it has relaxing properties ideal for action on stress. Its action focuses on CB1 receptors (cannabinoid receptor 1), which involve neurons in the brain and peripheral nervous system (example, intestines); and CB2 receptors (cannabinoid receptor 2) that are expressed in large numbers by immune cells.

For years, hemp oil has been recognized by its moisturizing properties. As for CBD oil, it would have calming properties. It helps to soothe skin irritation and provides antioxidant effects.

From a physiological point of view, cannabidiol oil brings many benefits to the human body. Thanks to its interaction with the human cannabinoid system, CBD generates a soothing effect on the neuronal system, which naturally refocus brain activity on physical sensations, provides a feeling of ease and reduces stress.

Moreover, according to recent studies, cannabis oil would also have anticonvulsive properties, particularly suitable for people with epilepsy.
