CBD Flower or oil, which one to choose?
There are many CBD-based products: cookies, e-liquides, crystals.. But many of them prefer more natural, less processed products, such as the CBD flower and hemp oil rich in cannabidiol. If between the two, your heart balances, the Lab Shop helps you make your choice by entrusting you everything you need to know about these hemp extracts and their benefits!
What difference between CBD flowers and oils?
The CBD flower is a hemp flower, in the literal sense, while CBD oil is extracted from the seeds and stems. These are both legal products in France, as they do not contain THC, the psychotropic substance that "makes the plane". Their cannabidiol content differs from one product to another. Some varieties of cannabis sativa are more loaded in CBD molecules than others, so you will find both light oils and very loaded flowers in CBD (and vice versa). The main difference between CBD flowers and oils is in their tastes and consumption patterns.
CBD flowers
Like its cousin hops, hemp is a dioecious plant, meaning a sexual plant with male and female plants that both produce distinct inflorescences. The male plants' flowers look like little bells that will open to release pollen during reproduction. Pollinated female flowers will produce seeds. However, the flowers from an unpollinated female hemp plant will form heads rich in resin, aromas and active ingredients such as the famous cannabidiol. We are interested in the latter, because you will find them on sale under the name « CBD flower ». The cBD flower is chopped, emitting or embroidered to be used in infusion, inserted into a vaporizer’s reservoir or integrated into your sweet and salted recipes.
CBD oils
The cBD oils are hemp oils rich in CBD. Like olive or coconut oil, CBD oil can be used in cooking preparations (it’s better to cook raw or softly for not burning them) or in local application, to relieve pain or curbs. You can also have a few drops under the tongue and let them melt to savour the effects in the simplest way possible! Traditionally, CBD oil is served neutral, with a taste of natural hemp. Some prefer to perfume it with fancy flavors such as cherry, passion or pineapple, to give life to new sweet recipes.
The main benefits of flowers and oils
The flowers and cannabidiol oils offer the same benefits:
- Sensation of easement
- Decrease in muscle crest
- Less stress, less anxiety
- Easy sleeping, with better sleep quality
Benefits of CBD oils
In addition to the benefits cited above, be aware that CBD oil, in local application, will have targeted action on chronic pain, eczema and curbs. It can therefore be used for massages, which do not allow CBD flowers. In addition, its discreet vial allows it to be carried everywhere in any discretion.
The benefits of CBD flowers
CBD flowers offer a much more natural experience than all other CBD-based products. The hemp flower is selected for its very low THC content (0.3% legal maximum), cut to the plant and then dried, before being proposed for consumption. It is therefore not or very little transformed. Each variety of flowers has its own taste and its effects vary somewhat, depending on whether it descends from Indica or Sativa strains or depending on its culture mode (in the open air, greenhouse or indoor). CBD flowers therefore have as their main advantage their great diversity as well as their ability to retransmit a taste, an authentic flavor, in all legality.
In conclusion.
So, CBD flower or oil, which one to choose? Everything depends on the desired experience! A simple desire to ease tensions? Opt for a CBD rich hemp oil. Looking for a natural and authentic experience? Choose a CBD flower from our selection!
