CBD Flowers: What is it?
The CBD (cannabidiol) is a molecule found in the hemp plant. The name CBD flower describes the flowers of hemp sativa L without or almost without THC (less than 0.2%, the legal limit in France and Europe). THC is the psychotropic substance that alters user perception and can cause sweats or hallucinations. On the contrary, since CBD flowers marketed on the French market do not contain or very few THC, their consumption is much softer, much more pleasant for the organism and above all, without any side effect other than deep relaxation.
What are the different varieties of CBD flowers?
We distinguish mainly 2 varieties of CBD flowers: we evoked the Sativa flower, which grows in tropical climates. The CBD on the French market often comes from the Sativa L hemp variety. On the other hand, there is the Indica flower, which produces many flowers and offers a high rate of CBD. CBD-based cosmetics often use the Indica flower for its powerful skin nourishing effects and its effect on psoriasis.
How do cannabidiol flowers affect our cannabinoid system?
The cBD flowers induce healthy, natural and legal relaxation. Cannabidiol helps us relax, because this molecule has an affinity with serotonin, a neurotransmitter that affects our moods and increases our feeling of happiness. CBD also causes the production of anandamide, a cannabinoid neurotransmitter with analgesic functions. Moreover, by regulating the production of anandamide, the CBD allows to regulate addictive behaviour: it can thus participate in the withdrawal of tobacco and cannabis! CBD flower thus replaces smoke and harmful products, in particular by bringing a small taste of hemp welcome to the liquid of the cigarette. It can also be used as a cure, with a daily herbal tea, to help restore quality sleep, relieve chronic pain and better cope with severe anxiety, such as daily stress.
